    A book by Marian Bantjes

Just pre-ordered “I wonder” a book by one of my favorite illustrators Marian Bantjes. Can’t wait to get my hands on it, too bad I have to wait until September though. Take a sneak peak here.

I really like how the contrast between black and white (hard and soft) elements is playing out on this particular piece. I’ve also been trying to introduce a more interesting composition that makes the eye wonder a bit before it leaves the canvas. More pieces to come soon.

This video comes in as a breath of fresh air from legendary Saul Bass and his take on design. It has struck a cord with me, especially during the time when I’m trying to re-evaluate where my career is heading. Glad to hear that I’m not alone in this.
